If you think that digital must necessarily win over analog you are wrong, we realized this at yet another contract closed by email. You reach a business agreement, yes, but you lose the human contact, the knowledge of the other.
How important it is, on the other hand, to meet one’s customers personally: only in this way can we capture the spirit of those in front of us, and only in this way can we truly convey the passion and craftsmanship that identify our collections.
We are now more convinced than ever of this, and that is why participating in the annual trade fairs then becomes essential, and we are here again this year to gladly reconfirm this trend.
A January full of meetings
Just to start the new year in keeping with good resolutions and good habits, in January we will participate in two very important fairs: from January 18 to 22 we will be in Paris for the Maison&Objet fair (hall 5A stand F33), and then we will meet again in Frankfurt from January 25 to 29 with the renewed Christmasworld event (hall 8.0 stand B70).
But what really happens at a fair?
First of all, you meet a lot of people. The real star of a trade show is
The fair is also a crucial time to forge relationships with distributors and agents: possible collaborations can be explored, especially if you want to open up to new markets, discussing the most effective lines and products.
Of course, you meet the competition, i.e., other manufacturers like us, and have an opportunity to learn about new promotional strategies and take cues from those that are most innovative or best suited to our company.
THE REAL STAR
OF A FAIR
IS HUMAN CONTACT.
The fair as a showcase
Why should the fair be understood as a “showcase”?
One reason for this is in theapproach: it is the visitors themselves who approach a booth because they are attracted to the style of the company, a style that comes through the choice of background music, the display of products, and the lighting chosen. Visitors, who are spontaneously attracted to a company, are very receptive and willing to listen.
Showcase also because the company must take care of theappearance of its stand, always keeping an eye on the self-image it gives back.
Collections, like our Elementi, must be contextualized to better express the character and beauty of each product, and to leave visitors with deep suggestions that go beyond the more purely commercial aspects.
Also because, for us, a candle is always and above all an emotion.
