At Cereria Pernici, the raw materials used in candles are meticulously selected to provide the highest quality scented candle possible.
The heart of a candle is, of course, its wax, which must have two basic characteristics: a fairly low melting point and being relatively malleable at room temperature. Candles are all made of waxes because these very physical characteristics make candles work. Waxes can be vegetable (palm wax, soy wax, stearins, etc.), animal (from bees, stearins…), mineral (paraffins) and synthetic (very special and not used for candles).
From our know-how we have selected two types of waxes that we offer in our collections and Private Label projects: SOY and PARAFFIN.
Both waxes possess unique qualities that define the characteristics of a candle.
SOYA is a 100% natural wax free of animal by-products, always ensures the best burn and guarantees a longer life. Total non-toxicity and a delicate fragrance make this wax valuable and unique.
Our PARAFFIN is a product of mineral origin with a very high degree of refining recognizable by its transparency during melting. The scented essences achieve the highest olfactory yield due to the high degree of purity.
The Pernici candle is natural; no additives of any kind are used.
